hs20 video the is too noisy during playback ....help!

hi! all mates! just bought my hs20 and i updated it into the new firmware....my problemis when i play the video the i captured there's annoying sound...is there any settings to cancel the noise on it?please help me i really love this camera but the video sound output it really annoys me.....thanks in advance....

Aixcel,this is really wierd but I noticed that annoying sound today,I thought it was my dog chomping on something but then realised it was every 3 seconds or so.
I set the ''duel mode'' to OFF and it seemed to fix the problem.You can test this by resting the camera down in a very quiet room and pressing the record button. Let it record for about 15 seconds and then play it back.It shouild play back without that annoying noise.

Not really .
For that you need either the ability to plug in an external mic ( which you can't do on an HS20 ) or turn off the vibration reduction system and don't zoom. Also because the body is plastic , any slight hand movement will be picked up by the body of the camera and resonate.
Try using a tripod with a fluid head. That will decouple handling noise a lot but its doubtful it will cure all ills as the microphone has an auto-gain amplifier.

thanks 4 all ur quick reply.tried experimenting all modes...then i got solved the problem i swith to panorama mode then record the video for 2 mins. then replay i noticed that there was no more noise i was really surprised then went back to P mode to record a video then playback what a surprise no more noise....
