(Haven't been on the site for 2 weeks, so much catching up to do and hence the delay in commenting! Please if you have time have a look at my little fantail - Thankyou.)
Thank you for your kind and encouraging comments and good luck to you all in this months competition.
This swan built her nest in next doors garden earlier this year. We only one Cygnet appeared for about two days. Unfortunately it either died or the fox got it because we never saw it again. The poor swan sat on her nest for weeks after in all weather but no-more babies.
This is one of the most majestic shots I have ever seen.

Wendy: I think what you have here is, your once in a life time shot. You just know its going to be seen everywhere soon. get it out there Wendy.I see £ signs everywhere.GO FOR IT.Phil
Thank you for your really nice comments. It is a photo that I cannot really make my mind up if I really like it or not. I would have liked a more soft take myself. It was in the neighbours garden so I used my HS10, hand held at full zoom.
I think you have just about convinced me that it is much better than I think it is. My husband keeps telling me that it is good too.
Swantastic! Seen it on the scroller today and it sure deserves the attention. The image is heartwarming and it expresses the theme clearly, even without the title. VBOL.
Kind regards,
Ted
