Fujifilm @ Focus on Imaging 2012
Birmingham, UK: The 2012 Focus on Imaging show will give UK consumers their first chance to see and try the highly anticipated Fujifilm X-Pro1 - along with the wider FinePix spring range of cameras.
The stand will be showcasing the coveted X Series range: the X100, X10, X-S1 and X-Pro1. Since the launch of the X100 in April last year, Fujifilm's X Series has been extended to include on the X10 featuring a manual zoom, the X-S1 with its impressive 26x optical zoom and is now launching the long-awaited X-Pro1 with interchangeable lenses.
As a further highlight, Fujifilm has been working with 3 photographers who will be discussing their early experiences of using pre-production models of the X-Pro 1, at a series of presentations held throughout the show. At 11am, 2pm and 4pm on Sunday to Tuesday, one of three photographers: David Cleland, Andy Fallon and Justin Leighton will showcase their very different styles of work at the Fujifilm stand. The photographers will be describing their reactions to the X-Pro1 as well as being on hand to speak with attendees about working in their respective field of photography.
Sunday 4th March – David Cleland
Today at the Fujifilm stand, professional photographer and educator David Cleland will be talking about Fujifilm's new X-Pro1. David has been using a pre-production sample of the camera for his landscape photography work in Northern Ireland. He will be conducting three 15 minute talks followed by Q&A sessions at 11am, 2pm and 4pm.
Monday 5th March – Andy Fallon
Today at the Fujifilm stand, professional photographer and mentor Andy Fallon will be talking about Fujifilm's new X-Pro1. Andy is a music and portrait photographer who has been using a pre-production sample of the camera to shoot material for 'Soho Heroes', a project he is working on with writer Tim Arnold. He will be conducting three 15 minute talks followed by Q&A sessions at 11am, 2pm and 4pm.
Tuesday 6th March – Justin Leighton
Professional photographer Justin Leighton will be talking about Fujifilm's new X-Pro1. Justin is a freelance photographer for BBC's Top Gear, who has been road-testing a pre-production sample of the camera on a shoot in Sweden. I can't afford an X-S1, nor an X-1 but I love my HS-20, it's fantastic.

As its just down the road from me i am thinking about going just to ask Fuji why they dont resolve issuse before they market their cameras. Am really happy with my cameras but its so frustating when you have niggly little issues which i am sure they can resolve if the wanted to before marketing them.
